Digital Television
WOW! If you have been putting up with spotty reception for years, we have the answer... Digital Television.
Digital Television is a revolution in the way we watch TV.
Analog Television has a problem - any electrical "noise" the signal picks up is displayed on your TV.
Digital Television is different - it cant pick up noise. The result is near perfect reception all the time. You will receive additional channels, radio channels and Wide Screen which allows you to see about 30% more picture - fantastic for watching sport!
The old Analog system is to be turned off in the second half of 2010 - you will need to convert to Digital before this time or you will not be able to view television. You will require either a Digital TV or have a Set Top Box for each TV.
In this region you will also need a Digital (UHF) Antenna and you may need new cable. Ask us about our "Digital Ready Assessment"
A Set Top Box is a small device, a little like an Austar box, which receives the digital signal and converts it to an analog signal to work on your existing television or projector.
Standard Definition and High Definition Set Top Box's are available as standard single tuners, or with dual tuners and hard drive recorders for up to hundreds of hours of DVD quality recording.
